Accuris and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “Accuris”) are committed to ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and adhering to the highest standards of ethical behavior, as outlined in the Accuris Business Code of Conduct. Accuris supports and respects the protection of internationally recognized human rights and endeavors to ensure non-complicity in human rights abuses. We do not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in our organization or supply chain.

Our Business

Accuris is a leading aggregator and “one-stop-shop” for mission-critical data and information related to standards and other engineering content. We solve strategic challenges for engineering clients through integrated software and workflows, serving over 6,000 business and government customers.

Organizational Structure

Accuris is a U.S. tax-domiciled company, incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in Colorado, with approximately 1,000 employees across 15 countries. More information about our offices is available on our website at accuristech.com.

Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain primarily consists of professional services providers such as standards development organizations, contractors, software services, and other data and content providers. We also rely on suppliers for IT, office equipment, facilities management, print production, and publication distribution services. Given the nature of our business, we believe there is minimal risk of practices that support or are complicit with modern slavery. Nonetheless, we require all vendors with whom we have a master services agreement to adhere to high standards of business ethics and compliance with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws, including the U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulation on Combating Trafficking in Persons and the UK Modern Slavery Act.

Accuris Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

Accuris’s zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking is affirmed in our corporate policies, including the Business Code of Conduct, Third Party/Vendor Code of Conduct, and Human Rights and Labor Practices policy. These documents emphasize our commitment to respecting fundamental human rights as part of our corporate responsibility. In addition to supporting the principles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we are dedicated to working with suppliers to uphold ethical human rights standards.

Due Diligence and Further Steps

We have assessed that the majority of our suppliers operate in regions at low risk of forced labor or human trafficking. We have implemented onboarding procedures to assess new vendors, requiring them to affirm their commitment to eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking. In the next financial year, we will:

  • Ensure effective communication with vendors regarding our commitment to compliance with the Modern Slavery Act.
  • Continue risk assessments and engage further with suppliers as needed.
  • Promote an environment that encourages reporting concerns and protects whistleblowers.

Training

To raise awareness and ensure a strong understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, all employees have been informed of this statement, with annual reminders issued.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act of 2015 and constitutes the slavery and human trafficking statement for the year ending December 31, 2024, for Accuris and its subsidiaries to which the Act applies.
