Claude Pumilia
Chief Executive Officer
Claude Pumilia is the Chief Executive Officer and director of Accuris. He provides leadership for all aspects of the Accuris business with an emphasis on strategy and achieving the company vision to unleash engineering capability using AI and cognitive search.
Accuris is an engineering-focused technology company that drives $500MM in annual recurring revenue through AI-powered data and workflow solutions. Accuris works with over 6,000 global customers and 650,000 engineering end users in over 100 countries and dozens of industries – including aerospace and defense, energy, sustainability, construction, architecture and more. KKR purchased Accuris for approximately $1B in May 2023.
Prior to Accuris, Claude was CEO and President of DAT Freight & Analytics, a SaaS platform that operates the largest digital marketplace in North America. Claude and his team transformed DAT into a platform solution that delivers over 250 million freight matches and a database of $110 billion in annual market transactions. Under Claude’s leadership the company quadrupled revenue and cash flow and established DAT as the undisputed market leader in the logistics space. Before joining DAT, Claude served as Group Executive for Roper Technologies (NASDAQ: ROP), where he managed a portfolio of SaaS companies with over $500m in revenue. Previous roles include COO at Broe Group Private Equity, Chief Financial Officer at Ciber Global(NASDAQ:CBR), and other senior executive roles with CA Technologies, Hewlett Packard, Compaq Computer and McKinsey & Company.
Claude also serves as director of TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX), a $60B a year revenue technology distributor in the Fortune 100.
Claude earned his J.D. at the University of Virginia and holds a B.A. in Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University.
In his free time, Claude enjoys skiing, competitive biking, and spending time with his family.
Richard Smith
Chief Financial Officer
Richard Smith is the Chief Financial Officer at Accuris, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial success including cash flow planning, financial reporting, and overall financial health.
Rich brings to Accuris more than a decade of experience in financial leadership roles at high-performing technology companies, backed by leading private equity firms including Vista Equity Partners, TPG, Silverlake, and Providence Equity. Most recently Rich has served as CFO of Formstack, a leading provider of no-code workflow and intelligent document management solutions, where he led the finance, accounting, legal, and sales operations functions. While there, he built out the company’s FP&A and legal functions and led a successful financial transaction in which Formstack brought on new private equity ownership and additional funding to fuel the next phase of the company’s growth. Prior to Formstack, Rich helped build and grow best-in-class finance, accounting and business operations teams at Omnitracs, a provider of SaaS transportation and logistics solutions; Active Network, a provider of activity registration and event management solutions; and Sabre, a provider of airline, hotel and travel agency software and solutions.
Rich holds an MBA from the University of Kansas and a BS from Kansas State University. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, skiing, running, hiking, and traveling.
Duane Newman
Chief Product Officer
Duane Newman is the Chief Product Officer at Accuris. He leads Accuris’ product strategy, ensuring the company’s solutions meet engineers’ needs while keeping Accuris ahead of the curve in a constantly evolving and competitive industry.
Duane is a renowned thought leader who has spent his career building software solutions. Prior to joining Accuris, he held product leadership roles at both public and private companies, including Symantec, Ivanti, and LANDESK. Throughout his career, he has launched products in many different markets, including asset, endpoint, identity, security, service and workflow.
Duane holds a degree from the University of Utah School of Business. In his spare time, Duane enjoys mountain biking, boating, waterskiing, and wakesurfing with his family.
Mike Klinger
president
Mike Klinger serves as President of Accuris. In this role, Mike oversees the integration and continued business strategy of the Techsteet organization, which combined into Accuris in 2023.
Prior to Accuris, Mike held the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer and served as a member of Board of Directors in Techstreet, LLC, its subsidiaries as well as its holding companies. Klinger has extensive financial operations and management experience in a variety of industries, including 20 years in the entertainment industry. He was an integral part of the leadership transition team in the merger of Polygram Records and Universal Music U.S. to create the world’s largest entertainment group. Later, he joined Entertainment Distribution Co. LLC as Executive Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer when it purchased various global operations from Universal Music. Prior to Techstreet, LLC., he was the Principal of Philips, Andrews and Associates, providing consulting services and guidance to entrepreneurs.
Klinger received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University, and a master’s degree in project management from ITT. He is a certified public accountant.
Mitchell Rowe
CRO
Mitchell “Mitch” Rowe is Chief Revenue Officer at Accuris. In this role, he oversees the strategy and performance of all revenue-generating teams at Accuris, including global sales, customer experience, and marketing.
Mitch is an international sales leader with 25 years of experience building and growing successful software sales teams. An engineer by training, he brings a wealth of knowledge around engineering workflow challenges and the best solutions to address them.
Prior to joining Accuris, Mitch was CRO at LogRhythm, an information security technology company. Previously, he held sales leadership roles at both public and private equity-backed firms, including Ivanti (a Clearlake Capital portfolio company), LANDESK (a Thoma Bravo portfolio company), Pitney Bowes, and Infor. He began his career as an applications engineer and worked for 12 years in factory automation software in the semiconductor industry. Mitch is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and lived and worked in Asia for more than eight years.
Mitch holds an MBA from Utah State University, and a B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in Mandarin Chinese from the University of Utah.
He is a proud father of 6 and has been married for more than 30 years.
Neil de Silva
Chief Operating Officer
Neil de Silva is the Head of Operations at Accuris. He leads the company’s content management teams responsible for accuracy, currency, and completeness of information consumed by Accuris customers. He is also responsible for managing Accuris’ Global Real Estate portfolio.
Previously, Neil led IT project management office (PMO) organizations and application software development teams and participated in M&A due diligence and integration activities during his 23-year tenure at S&P Global. Prior to joining Accuris, Neil held various people leadership and project management roles in healthcare, legal, and higher education sectors.
Neil has a strong passion for mentoring and developing leaders. He has led large global teams with high colleague engagement and minimal attrition in competitive markets including Denver, London, Bangalore, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
Neil holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Montana. His personal hobbies include international travel, hiking and reading.
Marcus Gearhard
CTO
Marcus Gearhard is the Chief Technology Officer at Accuris, responsible for the businesses’ Product Development, and Product Management functions.
Marcus has spent 23 years within the business, successfully leading technology strategy to enable the business to transform from a content distribution service to a workflow platform for engineers and technical professionals. His team consists of over 200 software engineers who are consistently questioning and improving business technology through an agile methodology.
Prior to Accuris, Marcus spent 7 years in the A&D space working on Satellite Ground Control systems and launch vehicle flight software at Lockheed Martin, and two years in the telecom industry.
Marcus holds a B.S. in Computer Science.
Danielle Petrich
CHRO
Danielle Petrich is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Accuris. In her role, Danielle defines and leads execution of the company HR strategy, including recruitment, employee relations, workforce administration, employee engagement, and payroll.
Danielle has 25 years of HR experience with focus on HR strategy. Prior to Accuris, she was a Global People Partner at S&P Global. She also held Global HR Business Partner roles at both IHS Markit and MWH.
Danielle has experience at both private and public entities with a record of operating strategically in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and taking on progressively more responsibility.
Danielle holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Jim Thomas
CPO
Jim Thomas is the Chief Partnership Officer for Accuris. He is responsible for developing and executing partnership strategies for current and future strategic partners of the organization including Standards Development Organizations, National Bodies of Standards, channel partners, government, and other industry partners.
Prior to his role at Accuris, Jim was Chief Revenue Officer & Vice President of Global Sales, Partnerships, and Content Product Development at S&P Global Engineering Solutions. In this role, he oversaw an international staff of sales and product management professionals positioned to sell industry-critical content, create global partnerships, increase revenue, and expand market visibility to ultimately develop a culture of customer-driven workflow efficiencies.
Jim began his career as a regional sales associate at IHS Inc. in 1999. From account management to product creation to customer partnerships and revenue growth, he learned the engineering sales business from end to end. Prior to joining S&P Global in 2022, Jim held several roles within ASTM International over 16 years. He worked to create an international sales team, designed a customer service group, developed a new product development department with corresponding go-to-market products, and expanded ASTM’s international marketing strategy. Responsible for over 80% of ASTM’s overall revenue budget, Jim developed a system that produced significant annual growth year over year while mentoring staff to excel in their respective roles.
Jim leads with a vision geared towards market growth, leveraging new opportunities with existing international partners to further promote overall industry quality and safety. He is driven by a strong passion for team development and global partner opportunities with respect to business growth and sustainability, all while keeping an eye on emerging markets and technologies and digital transformation.
Jim holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s Degree from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
Jeff Platon
Vice President of Marketing
Jeff Platon is the Vice President of Marketing at Accuris. With extensive experience in business-to-business marketing leadership, Jeff is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to create marketing programs that drive business growth.
Before joining Accuris, Jeff was the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Hoxhunt, an AI-enabled risk management platform. He also served as CMO at Interactive Intelligence and held prominent positions at leading technology companies, including Vice President of Marketing for Cybersecurity at Cisco and Vice President of Business Development & Marketing at McAfee. Throughout his career, Jeff has transformed marketing organizations within fast-paced, dynamic technology environments, fostering cultures of innovation driven by data and measurable results.
Jeff holds Executive MBA certificates from both the London School of Business and Finance and the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Gabrielle Ramaiah
Chief of Staff & VP of Transformation
Dr. Gabrielle Ramaiah is the Chief of Staff and Vice President of Transformation at Accuris. She works across all areas of Accuris to help the company make informed decisions about its future.
Gabrielle has an impressive background of building and executing data-driven strategies across software, private equity, venture capital, and military and defense organizations. As an Associate Partner at Mckinsey & Co., she built a playbook to drive double-digit growth strategies for software companies. Previously, she was a Military Analyst at the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, where she built award-winning analyses that drove defense policy.
Gabrielle has a Ph.D. from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth.
Timothy Walker
General Counsel
Timothy (Tim) Walker is General Counsel for Accuris, responsible for the company’s legal, compliance, corporate, risk, and procurement functions.
Tim is a longtime legal leader with nearly 30 years of experience representing fast-paced technology companies. He has broad-based strategic planning experience in legal matters related to SaaS services, technology, privacy, information security, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data governance, and data operations.
Prior to joining Accuris, Tim served as Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Billtrust, a SaaS accounts receivable and payments company. He has also held legal leadership positions at Transamerica, ID Analytics, First Data Corporation, and other companies.
Tim has a J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Trenton Pologar
Chief Information Officer
Trenton Pologar is Accuris' Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, he oversees the company's enterprise technology strategy, managing the systems and experts that drive business and customer success.
Trenton has more than two decades of experience leading transformational technology initiatives for companies of all sizes, ranging from startups to long-established software institutions. Prior to joining Accuris, he led information technology and security teams at Kymeta Corporation, Indigo, REI Co-Op, SAP, and HP.
Trenton has a master’s degree in IT, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing from the University of Denver and a BS/BA in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University.
