Does Thread recognize “shall” and “must” as requirements?
Answer: Yes. Accuris Thread recognizes “shall” and “must” statements, as well as “have to”, “needed”, “required”, “mandatory”, “obligatory”, “compulsory”, “necessary”, “indispensable”, “imperative”, “vital”, “crucial”, “essential”, “critical”, “all-important”, “shall only”, etc.
Can customers upload proprietary documents into Thread to perform traceability work, or can documents and metadata be extracted into their environment from other sources?
Answer: Both. Accuris Thread can extract requirements from internal content uploaded to the platform, as well as for content within our platform from participating SDOs and standards publishers.
Can multiple documents be uploaded at once?
Answer: Yes, you can upload multiple documents at once – up to 10MB at a time.
How many documents can Thread analyze for similarity at once?
Answer: Accuris Thread can conduct similarity analysis on up to 5 documents simultaneously.
Can Thread compare government regulations with Engineering Workbench standards documents and internal documents?
Answer: Yes, Accuris Thread’s similarity analysis feature works with regulations, standards, and internal documents.
Will Thread identify conflicting requirements?
Answer: Yes, this feature is on the product roadmap.
Do you currently have any standards development organizations (SDOs) on board?
Answer: Yes. Reach out to us for more details on available content.
Some standards publishers restrict the use of AI with their content. Does Thread take this into account?
Answer: Yes. We obtain permission from publishers before allowing their content to be processed with Accuris Thread.
Is Accuris Thread integrated with Windchill PLM?
Answer: Not yet, but integration is planned for this year.
Can Thread be integrated with Goldfire?
Answer: Yes, this integration is on the roadmap for this year.
Can company admins add and customize the metadata fields appended to requirements?
Answer: This capability will be added later this year.
Is Thread available for single-use purchases, or is it only offered as a subscription?
